奥塔哥大学关于新冠肺炎疫情的通告-受影响学生请及时联系大学

　　立思辰留学云消息，针对新型冠状病毒的肺炎疫情所造成的影响，奥塔哥大学现在为在校以及即将到校的学生和教职人员开设专项登记通道和支持服务。

　　The University has set up a register to offer support and advice for existing and prospective students and staff affected during the Coronavirus outbreak.

　　由于近日新西兰政府启动入境管制，部分来自中国的学生将无法于本周按时抵达新西兰。我们意识到此次管制不仅影响了计划返校却无法成行的中国学生，也包括刚刚抵达新西兰的中国学生，以及近日从中国大陆地区返回新西兰的研究学者和教职人员。

　　Although the situation is constantly changing, at this stage a number of students from China will not be able to travel to New Zealand this week as planned due to NZ Government travel restrictions. This communication applies to staff and students recently arrived here from China, and prospective new students still in China; also, any intending departmental visitors including visiting lecturers and guests who have recently travelled from mainland China.

　　请在邮件中注明自己的姓名和联系方式，以便在下一周内大学工作人员能够及时与您取得联系。（请务必保持联系方式的有效性以及畅通性，以避免因无法及时沟通而造成不必要的损失。）此次登记的目的，是为了确保每一位受到影响的奥塔哥大学学生及教职人员都能够获得及时且有效的沟通和联系。

　　The University asks all of these affected groups to Register with the support facility at AskOtago: university@otago.ac.nz. Please provide names and contact details so that the University can get in touch with those affected within the next week. This register is being set up to offer support, advice and respond to individual situations.

　　同时，近日从中国大陆地区返回新西兰的学生和教职人员，请按照规定自我隔离14天。这14天的定义是，例如您已经抵达新西兰满5天，那么您需要继续自我隔离满9天方可符合规定。

　　Also, students and staff recently arrived from China will need to go into self-isolation for 14 days after arrival in NZ. If students or staff have been in NZ already for 5 days, for example, this means that they need to be isolated for a further nine days.
