　　Tamatea High School has only 300 students and most classes are between 15 and 20 students. This means teachers and other staff can provide every student with effective support and care.

　　We help our students set their learning and career goals, and then create individual learning plans to support them to achieve their goals, taking into consideration each student’s strengths and preferences.

　　All our international students who set a goal to gain University Entrance then go on to university to study for degrees such as law, engineering and medicine.

　　Tamatea High School limited positions available for international students. We have students from Thailand, Japan and China, with a few positions available for students from each country. We want to make sure students improve their English and effectively engage with their study here. With small numbers from each country, there is a higher chance for them to be immersed in English language.
